Pooja Datt BSc EMBA (Life-Sciences)- Research Manager
Pooja has over 23 years of experience working within the life-sciences industry which includes hands-on experience in the research sector. Her background lies in planning and managing complex operations, teams, processes, and developing research strategy to catalyse productivity and project success within healthcare sector. She has a key role in project managing and facilitating annual Frontiers conference and other educational meetings across the year. Pooja has also supported the process of obtaining pharmaceutical and educational sponsorship for various educational conferences.
Through her current role as a Research Manager with St Mark’s Academic Institute, she interacts and collaborates with various national and multinational stakeholders. She has been directly involved in overseeing research performance, research training, managing research funding grants such as Innovate-UK & Helmsley, and reviewing research project proposals. One of her key roles involve supporting Research Fellows, who join St Mark’s Academic Institute to do PhDs in collaboration with Imperial College.
