Tom is a consultant radiologist with specialist expertise in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary imaging. He completed his general radiology training at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, with further rotations at Frimley Park Hospital and The Royal Marsden Hospital. He went on to undertake subspecialty training in hepatobiliary imaging at the Royal Free Hospital and in gastrointestinal imaging at St Mark’s Hospital.

His clinical practice focuses on all aspects of gastrointestinal cancer imaging, with a particular interest in complex colorectal cancer.

Alongside his clinical work, Tom plays an active role in research and innovation. He is the research co-lead for the London North West Healthcare radiology department and serves as radiology lead and local principal investigator for the MERCURY 3 rectal cancer study. He is also a sub-principal investigator for the PRESERVE and PICCOS studies.
