Mr Nick Dai is a general and colorectal surgery trainee in the East of England deanery, currently out of programme pursuing a PhD in novel non-invasive methods of risk stratification in Lynch syndrome. He is supervised by Professor Kevin Monahan, Professor George Hanna, Dr. Andrew Latchford and Professor Peter Sasieni. His research focuses on the detection of volatile organic compounds in the breath alongside FIT testing to detect colorectal adenomas and cancer.
