Mr Theo Pelly is a General Surgery Specialist Registrar in the North East and Central London Deanery. He is currently a Research Fellow at the Robin Phillips Fistula Research Unit, pursuing a PhD in perianal Crohn’s disease under the supervision of Professor Ailsa Hart and Mr Phil Tozer.
His research is dedicated to advancing the understanding and management of perianal Crohn’s disease across its full spectrum. In particular, he focuses on addressing complex challenges such as non-fistulising perianal Crohn’s disease, as well as poor wound healing and persistent perineal sinuses following proctectomy.
