Professor Ailsa Hart, Consultant Gastroenterologist and Director IBD Research, St Mark’s Hospital was a member of the international advisory group at the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Summit in India on 26th-28th January. She contributed to an exciting global initiative to understand more about the epidemiology of IBD in countries where the disease is emerging, which is likely to be informative about the pathogenesis of these diseases.
